A team at the service of companies to support and set up research collaborations
Many of ESIEE Paris’s activities are research-centred, with over 100 faculty members and multiple state-of-the-art facilities
Collaborate with R&D at ESIEE Paris
ESIEE is a key player in technological progress, information and communication sciences and technologies and technological innovation management, with skilled teams dedicated to promoting research applications in the fields of new technology, sustainable development and health.
Lionel Rousseau, one of our researchers was awarded a Starting Grant by the European Research Council (ERC). Top researchers and a team dedicated to setting up and monitoring research projects are at your disposal for: over-the-counter collaborations, services, participation in research consortia (ANR, European (H2020), FUI projects) and the creation of CIFRE theses.

Examples of collaborations
The ESIEE Paris clean rooms specialise in the prototyping of MEMS-type micro-sensors, characterisation and manufacture in small and medium series, and technology transfer for large volumes.
Some examples of industrial collaborations:
SLB France: sensors for oil exploration and extraction
Si-Ware-Systems Egypt: the world's smallest FTIR optical spectrometer
Esterline: sensors for the aviation industry
MISTIC: transposing standard semiconductor industry processes onto titanium for new high-performance components

The virtual reality platform enables synthesis and image processing algorithms to be developed and validated, multi-user collaborative working applications to be developed and a platform for experimentation to be provided.
Here are just a few examples of our work:
3D medical images
Physical simulations
Porting the application to Ogre 3D
Addition of living beings using Cal3D / Replicant Body
Adding an interactive modeller to enhance scenes from OSG
Interfacing with Wiimote
A range of electrical and optical measurement platforms: sub-peak measurements, vector network analyser, semiconductor parametric tester, communicating sensors, arbitrary signal generators, etc. for microwave measurements, digital radio communications, RFID, digital signal processing applications and wireless networks.
Some examples of applications:
Design and characterisation of digital RF and microwave-optical integrated circuits
Characterisation of optical MEMS and photonic microcomponents
The Embedded Systems platform enables studies of real-time systems, multi-sensor management and energy management. Comprising two design platforms for distributed real-time systems, various programming tools are available: programmable digital boards, programming languages.
Measuring equipment, modelling and rapid prototyping tools and software, test benches for electric vehicles, scale models, etc. are also available.
A few examples of collaborations:
Akkodis: optimal management of two energy sources (battery and super-capacitors) in an electric vehicle / optimal real-time navigation system
Solar Decathlon: international student competition aimed at developing training and research in the field of sustainable architecture and solar energy
Economics of innovation, strategic intelligence... From patents to analysis tools, this platform enables you to carry out studies.
Here are a few examples of collaborations:
META (formerly Facebook): computer vision
Eiffage: materials for urban cooling islands
NXP: wireless sensor network based on artificial intelligence
Wizdeo: complex networks and the market
Segula: sensors for non-invasive analysis of skin cancer tissue
Heart Flow: modelling the perfusion of biological tissue
ThermoFischer Scientific: design and implementation of algorithms
Renault: cabin air quality sensors
Safran: Ethernet networks for avionics systems
The research tax credit, an incentive for innovation! ESIEE Paris is a higher education and research institution delivering Master's degrees and is therefore accredited for the CIR.
